It's 11:52 and I should be asleep yet here I am. I finally asked Seth for the newest password and he complied. It's been a disappointing day all the way around, but as I lay here in a warm bed, I hear the snores of two little boys that are keeping me company and my thoughts go out to my husband who is stuck in the small sleepy town of Meeker tonight in a blizzard. He tried unsuccessfully to find a room (it's huntin' season, wouldn't ya know it) and as he has no sleeper on his truck, he will have to rough it by putting his bag between the seats and finding whatever comfort he can. The next room would be in Rifle and he didn't want to make the trip at a record speed of 12 miles an hour on slick mountainous roads with no visibility. So I guess I am pondering the many blessings in my life, and all that I have been given. I was talking to M.K. tonight who felt a little fearful about the future. I told her what her father told me when I expressed the same feelings to him. He said that we would still have each other no matter what happens and that our love would stay constant regardless of the changes around us. I guess that's an excellent reason to keep putting one foot in front of the other and plodding along life's road. It is now 12:07. Perhaps I should attempt to sleep. Or I shall be a crabby mommy on the morn'.
