Just a Few Things

Tuey asked if we still had a family blog a little while which reminded me that it had been sometime since I'd written anything. We are looking forward to Kara's visit and Tuey claims he will have her CD ready. (I noticed that coming to visit us did not make her list of things that make her happy...hmmm...) Man in the Mirror is playing on Kara's blog at this time and Tuey and Mary Kate are both singing along. Seth made the comment that he doesn't know how they know the words to it. Lindsay will be disappointed that she's missing out, but she is downstairs listening to Christmas music if I am not mistaken. Yes, we know it's a tad early but it snowed last night and so it seems that Christmas is coming early around here. Oh and by the way, we are off to Bailey for the second play off game next Saturday. One down, three to go for the 2A championship. (Sean has entered the room wearing a towel fresh from the shower and has begun to join in the song. Seth reiterates that he hates this song. woo woo na na na make a change and so on and so forth. hiccup etc. Seth has begun to do some screeching. I'm sorry for those of you who would like to be part of the audience.
Jordan and Pete came through town last week. (There appears Lindsay now, but we are now on Bleedin' love. Now there are five singers in here. Nathan doesn't know the words so he isn't joining in. Tuey is doing the keep bleedin' keep bleedin in love part) But as I was saying about our visitors from last week...they stayed for a couple of days. Jordan took the carpool to school one morning and then went back later that afternoon to watch the football practice. The coaches thought he was scouting for Lamar until the boys let them know he was their cousin. We very much enjoyed his visit and thought he left too soon. Hopefully there will be a return visit sooner than later.
Well I will sign off to the tune of When it Rains. There is some bitter argument about the lyrics, but I won't elaborate except to say Seth doesn't care what the lyrics are. Lindsay pretends to know the lyrics, but doesn't. Oops. Song is over. Now it is viva la vida although I couldn't tell you the name of it or the artist if one of the kids doesn't tell me. Thanks for the songs Kara. I guess we will see you in a few short days.

I saw that all in my head and was smiling through each moment. Thanks. No thanks in order for your Christmas plans though. How will that be fun for me I ask?

i also was smiling through the post..and want everyone to know that i am super excited to be coming for a visit..and that it didn't make my list because it is seperately entirely from the things that can make me happy every day. also..i so don't appreciate how i take the time to blog about my FEELINGS and the only comment i get is about YOU!! way to turn that around for your benefit. :) also..two more days..or something like that. either way..sooner rather than later i will be there and will be able to add my voice to those glorious songs!! p.s. i second what kate says about christmas.
