Lindsayless Sunday
Here it is, approximately 3:08 in the p.m. and I find myself Lindsayless. I took a rather lengthy, and may I say, lazy nap and awoke to the sound of M.K., Sean, and Nathan playing on the porch. They were on an island filled with cannibals and I think poor Nathan was about to be captured. I believe he must have been saved by the Christians at the very last moment. Afterward, we had a barbecue (not Nathan) and sat outside in the warmth of the day. As of now, Jon is working on Tuey's car with him. Under duress, I think as he would probably like to be napping now. Tuey is painting the upholstery (now brown, alas) a black color to match the dashboard and Jon will sew the ripped vinyl. I hope it is successful operation. Donkey Kong is playing the front room as we can NEVER get too much of a good thing. Seth was asked to clean up the kitchen, but instead enslaved Sean and got out of it. I rewarded Sean with my controller and poor little Nathan felt sorry for Seth (why, I don't know) and relinquished his controller as well. M.K. sits looking on griping at the shoddy way everyone plays a game that she should be playing ever so much better. For all the noise, there is a piece missing, a voice raised trying to be heard amid the chaos, a hand reaching for mine, a body missing from my lap, a pony-tailed, freckled girl with braces. Hope she's having fun, but she IS missed here, as I'm sure she will be when she is gone from there.
